The Settee!
This is the Beginning!
All green!
When I saw this settee at an antique shop I fell in Love with it!
I have been painting
but not reupholstering anything for several years!
I thought this can't be difficult.
As I kept taking it apart I realized this is older than I thought.
This Settee has to be from the early 1900's or maybe before! Lol!
I haven't seen straw in furniture before!
Maybe others have but I haven't!
There was even a feed sack used!
I guess they used what they had in them days!
Well, with a lot of love & some hard work it turned out pretty cute!
(At least I thought so! Lol)
I wanted it to still have that vintage look but with a little up dating!
So I painted it light grey with a little darker grey accents!
Then I covered it with a dark grey velvet!
Now it's in my shop window!
Waiting for it's New Owner!
