My Secret Garden!

Come enter some of my favorite parts of the garden.

Walking down the stone steps is one way to enter!

Come sit a while and look over the waterfalls.

These red coneflowers are a new addition.
They're very bright and colorful.

As you walk down the stone stairway
you might get a glimpse of a girl reading her book
and a private bench to sit on.
Your welcome to join her!

As you cross over the stream, Oh my!
Don't look ! The birds are bathing!

You will see a Gazebo just waiting for your presence.
Come on in ! Just relax!
Listen to the water rushing down the stream.

As your relaxing watch the fish swim and play
or listen to Mr. Frog tell his story.

As your done relaxing and continuing your walk.
You will pass Rebecca. She is one of our fountains.
The soft sound of water brings little birds to
drink from her pitcher.

Come on in and take a breath.
Eat some grapes!
Swing a little and listen to all the
beautiful sounds!

As you enter through the gates,
you will walk through our new shade garden.

As you continue your walk you will spot
our little bird fountain that glows in the night.
At night when you look over the garden it reminds
me of a little light house to help you see your way.

As you exit the garden you will meet an angel.
It looks like she's getting her orders as she's looking up to
the heavens.

I think she is wanting to say God loves you and
cares for you so be blessed today!

Wallpaper Tricks

Decorative Shutters for Privacy Screen!

You'll want to take out the center panel of each shutter.
Paint your decorative shutters with the
color you desire.
Then attach wallpaper of your choice to your center panels.
Tack wallpaper-covered center panels onto you frame
of your shutters to make a beautiful privacy screen.

Wallpaper instantly dressed up this once plain wood headboard!

To get this look, simply cut the wallpaper of your choice
according to the shape of the headboard.
Attach using the manufactures instruction.
A unique way to add personality to your room!

This is a Retro Redo!

A discarded display cabinet gained a new life with
lipstick-pink paint and sections of punchy
damask paper inside and out.
Attach decorative hooks or knobs to the door for
organizing your jewelry.

A Dresser Revamp!

Use floral paper to rejuvenate the drawer fronts of a tired dresser.
And the lampshade project is a snap.
Just cut paper slightly larger than the shade.
Adhere, pressing firmly to smooth wrinkles.
Once dry, simply slice off the excess paper with a craft knife.

See how much fun it is to design your own room!

A Wallpaper Frame Update!

This simple project can be done to a picture frame or
a tiny mirror.
To get this look, lay the frame flat and
cut around the edge leaving about an inch border.
Trace around the inside hole, be sure to leave about 1/2 inch
that will be folded back.  Cut slits in all corners, then wrap the
wallpaper around the edges.  Adhere to the back of the frame.

A neat way to coordinate with the rest of your room!

Hanging Wallpaper for Art!

Create a wall hanging from wallpaper scraps.
Use a dowel rod from a craft store for a smooth look.
Roll the top and bottom of the paper over the rods and attach
with glue and a stapler.
Tie a decorative cord to the top rod and hang from hook on wall.

Makes beautiful Art!

Bold Service Cart!

A basic glass-front bookcase becomes a stellar service cart
with just a roll of wallpaper.
After removing the legs and doors, prime and paint the bookcase.
When dry, wallpaper the outside surfaces and install caster to
the bottom.  Reattach doors.

What fun and interesting ways to recreate your
decorative pieces!

Outdoor Gardening

A garden ornament provides a vital focal point,
like a punctuation mark amidst
stems and foliage.
Position your ornaments where you want
a centre of attention to be,
and then create the right surroundings to set it off.

This S shaped cement birdbath with decorative carvings
would look adorable in your garden.

                                                 I hear the sound of ripp-it, ripp-it
when you see this birdbath carved
with adorable little frogs

This birdbath is beautifully designed
with angels.
Just add a glass top. Voila!
You have a beautiful garden table.

Rabbits are always fun to put in a garden!

Then there are those beautiful metal ornaments
for your garden.
Add a touch of French to your garden with
this crown.

This metal trellis makes an interesting focal point
 for your flower pot.
They come in all kinds of shapes!

To make your gardens more fun and interesting
add these fun metal sculptor pieces.
A dragonfly or a coneflower!

After all the work in the garden this Angel
is resting his wings.

So have fun and enjoy!

Thank You Heavenly Father!

Thank you Heavenly Father for sending your Son
to die for me (my sins).
Making a way for me to have eternal life.

Thank you Jesus for all that you suffered on that
Cross for me.
We would of never been able to endure
what you did for us!

I thank you with all my heart!

Easy No-Sew Window Treatment!

A How to from Annabelle's!

To create these beautiful window treatments:
Use floor-length tab-top panels and three shades of
velvet ribbon.
Just lay out the panels and attach horizontal bands
of ribbon with fabric glue.
To make the ties at the top, cut the tabs off,
then cut six evenly placed,
1-inch horizontal slits across each panel.

Length of ribbon is your choice.
Finish by cutting V shapes out of the end of each tie.

Velvet ribbon turn these plain white tab-top cutains
into an elegant treatment.

Tip: Washable fabric glue will be strong enough to
withstand a washing machine
and will remain clear and flexible.

Enjoy!
